Hindsight
Well, it has been a while.
I've just realised that I didn't post the result of the final. We lost! I was pretty disappointed but, hey, we had a good knock. That's it for me though. I've played my last serious game of ball.
On the professional front, Ireland look to be doing well. My impression is that we're heading for a fall. Cardiff in February will be a tough ask and Gingette will never let me live it down if we lose again!
Here in NZ it's allegedly summer. In truth, the weather is pretty unsettled and springish. We've had windy 27C days and cool 18C days already this week. We carried on pretending it was winter regardless. Christmas is coming and all teh ex-pats are getting a bit tetchy.
We put up a lovely Christmas tree during the weekend, We closed the curtains and, it being pretty cool outside, fired up soem mulled wine. It was pretty nice actually!
Gotta roll. Stay tuned for news of my coaching debut and my opinions on why being a test analyst for a radio company is the worst job I've ever had.
