Winter sport indeed

So, it's been a while since my last update on the progress of Mad3. However, there's been very little going on.

The past few weeks have been pretty miserable here. We had snow down to sea level 2 weeks ago and the parks haven't had time to dry out. The winter sports league tend to be very protective of the surface so we've had a couple of weeks off. It's been pretty tough maintain momentum under the circumstances and wwe're pretty much clutching at straws to keep together.

Some of the measures we've taken are as follows. We've been playing netball, doing aquacise and aerobics. All a bit removed from a tough game of rugby union but they've served thier purpose. The main benefit has been that we've had time to heal a few wounds and get back to match fitness. It may have been a blessing in disguise as we're playing Suburbs next week and we'll have our work cut out for us. They've been our best competition this season and they're even stronger at home.

All in all, our record of 10 games unbeaten is standing firm. We'll need a big one this weekend to keep it alive!
